my cute nephew

I love this time of year and being around small children has its rewards. Annaliese is excited about santa. Santa, ho ho, santa ho ho, she doesn't get the full concept of Santa, but I am looking forward to next year. Especially when she can ramble like my little buddy Breck.

Last night my mom, sister, me and the kiddos, and my nephew Brecken went to look at christmas lights and we were headed out to Glenwood to look at "the house" with all the lights, and boy was it a fun little ride. We had to keep talking to Annaliese to keep her awake (no nap Anna), Brecken did a pretty good job with that. We got about a block away and I hopped out of the car to grab a blanket and prop it under B so he was a little taller and could see out the windows, as I was strapping him back in the seatbelt A asked to get out...I said, "no we are going to drive up the road and look at all the Christmas lights on this house." I got in the car and we drove a half a block A was out like a light....needless to say she did wake up to see the lights (and when she did , you just had to be there it was hilarious), but then went back to sleep. However the fun just began.....my nephew Brecken is so smart and is always telling us something interesting. He got reall excited and said "hey you wanna know what?" "what?" we replied. "Guess what.....Richfield has something...." "what does Richfield have" we asked, "Richfield, Richfield has a FIRE STATION"....I wish I had a little recorder to record conversations.... It was the cutest thing... he was so excited to tell us that Richfield has a Fire station!! Then he proceeded to tell us that we need to drive by his house to look and see what is on his roof. "go by my house and I will show you what is on my roof....there is no santa or reindeer on my roof, but I will show you what is up there. So we got about 2 houses away....Brecken said, " SEE SEE SEE what is on my roof.....Christmas lights!!! I love that little guy and am so glad he came with us to keep us entertained.

this and that

This was A's masterpiece that she was so excited to show me....her "samwich". Wish I would've snapped a photo when she tried to put it in her mouth.

Kinsley, Jordan, and David with reindeer antlers. It was a fun game, split into teams, blow up balloons and then stuff them in nylons, then put on head, first team to finish wins.

My sweet sister in law Chelsea and her daughter Braylee, and maybe Braylees first baby doll. ?

Annaliese knows how to tear into the presents this year will be fun.

He wasn't to fond of the antlers, but I sure thought they were cute.

December is such a fun and chaos month love spending it with family. Christmas parties this last weekend, and sick kid this week. Oh and Ryan left to start a winter job, he will be in Cedar for the next 5 months. :( On another note, I feel lucky, my dad happened to be at the right place and the right time and picked up a dishwasher for me that one of his friends was getting rid of, and then the same thing happened this week Ryan was doing a yard clean up and the lady got new appliances so I ended up with a hardly used stove! yippy ! considering that the one we had was ancient...and when I say ancient I mean it! The knobs on the other one having been breaking over the years so finally we were down to one, that you would take off and put on the others to turn them on (or use pliars) and the oven temp was always a guess. Well so I checked online to purchase some new knobs for the old beast (cuz the universal ones aren't going to work..already tried it) and one stinkin knob was 50 dollars. UUGGHHH 50 X 5 = 250 might as well purchase a new one. BUT now I don't have to! Got one for free!!! I am enjoying my new dishwasher and oven. :)

Happy Holidays!

Me and my little man on Thanksgiving 2010.

Rub and dub dub....Annaliese won't look at the camera so here's a cheeser from Tristan.

Annaliese thought that she had to help do all the dishes on Thanksgiving!!! She sure had fun helping GMA! Needless to say she was soaked by the time she got done. (and so was the floor below her)

Braxton 14 Shelby 13 Annaliese 2 and Tristan 9.5 months

Annaliese was a lady bug and Tristan was a dog. We sure had fun on Halloween!

The little "chubs, puffy marshmellow, tank" look at those baby blues! (picture just doesn't do it justice on here)

Oh yes....Dear Santa,
Will you please bring me a new video camera, the one I have is on it's way to extinction. Ryan went to buy a new tape to tape Braxtons freshman year of wrestling and Walmart doesn't carry them anymore and Kmart had 1 left....I think it is time for a new one. Oh and did I mention the eye view piece is hanging by its cords...Yep thats right barely surviving! Oh and if it is not to much to ask I would really like a new computer....this one is about to join the extinction list too. It feels like it takes days...(ok maybe not days) but it sure takes along time to get anything loaded to it. I hope you have a good holiday....can't wait to see whats under the tree! ;)

Happy Holidays!!! I love this time of year! Family, friends, and food. We had a great Thanksgiving spent with Ryans family this year. Great food and company all in one weekend!!

small update

Ok so the above pictures are of Annaliese and Tristan #2 Annalies # 3 Tristan #1 and 3 were taken this last 2 weeks and number #2 was taken a year ago....they look pretty similar don't they? I have a few baby pictures of A that people think it is T.

I LOVE THIS ONE! they were sharing suckers!

I love this one of Shelby and Tristan.. they are so cute!

Happy Birthday!! Wow my little girl is 2! I can't believe it! I really think it was just the other day that I held you for the first time....what a tiny little thing you were. (3 lbs. 7 oz and 15.5 in. )

Love my chunky, chubba bubba little man and peanut or "stinks" (annaliese is a little stinker she is always getting into something, it is not that she is stinky) 2 kids that are so different in personalities...as far as weight goes there is 3.5 pounds different between them.

Snapped a photo of Great Grandma with the kiddos...and yes A is wearing snow white...again.

Snow White! She loves her! I tried to get a good picture of her....but this is the face that she does when you say "SMILE"....usually she is covering her face so you can't take a picture.

Ok so Annaliese got really quiet one day, so I went and found her...she used her potty to grab my make up bag, then went in Shelbys room in the corner and put on eyeshadow, and mascara...Not to bad for a 2 year old right?

Annaliese is trying to wrap Tristan up like a newborn baby....she is such a silly girl. Poor little man she tries to change his diaper, pick his boogies, feed him food he can't eat (NO teeth yet) oh and she sits on top of him and yells giddy up as she bounces.

Love my little mans baby blue eyes!

I love this time of year! Cooler temps, changing leaves (and boy some are really bright this year). I love Halloween! I love dressing up and just walking in peoples houses (that I know of course), but I am going to have to tone it down this year because the little girl that rules the roost is terrified of the witch that we usually put out as a decoration, so I think it might be just a few stops to the houses of family and friends. (oh and she hates the fire siren...she always has...can't figure why but SHE HATES IT.

Braxton just finished football...now wrestling will start. Shelby is doing volleyball it is so much fun to watch them play. BTW I can't believe how much volleyball has changed since I was in school...I don't know much about the rules anymore...and the score...and the ball can hit the net on the serve?...and there is no sideouts a team gets a point no matter what?...I feel really old! Holy Moly...I just thought of something...I am just a few short years away from a 20 year reunion....YIKES! I am old!

......

Amazing how .25 cents can keep you laughing for a good hour or two!

He is getting so big!! And he seems to be happy all the time!

She loves candy (just like mom)...and as a mother of 2 small children you learn to live with the fact that they have messy faces, sticky hands, and they get it all over....but oh well it washes off most of the time.

So much has been going on this summer....chasing kids back and forth to baseball and softball practices and games. Annaliese loves being outdoors and riding her bike, and Tristan squeals, rolls over, and has realized that he has a nose. Annaliese is talking a lot more she keeps me pretty entertained and on my toes! We had a fun 4th of July weekend! It was fun to spend it with family and friends. Shelby, Kira and 2 of Shelby's cousins did the grease pole in Salina and won!! They split over $200 dollars between them!! Maybe I will do it next year.....YEAH RIGHT. (We saw a moon and it was only 11:30 am) Annaliese loves cotton candy!!

growing fast

Well the Baker household is really busy this summer. Ryan is busy with work. Braxton is busy with Allstar baseball, wrestling camp in Colorado, and then football will start in July. Shelby is busy with softball and just tried out last night for the allstar team, so I am sure we will still be doing softball for a few more weeks. Tristan is catching up to his sister....FAST at his 4 month visit he weighed 15.4 and was 25 inches. Annaliese went to the Dr. this week and was 20.4 and 30 inches, T is such a little chubba bubba, and A is a skinny minny. Annaliese has started to potty train....it is going pretty good, she poops in the toilet and pees on the ground. She is so independant and starting to talk a lot more, just wish I could understand her. Today she wanted Cheetos....so I said say Cheetos....CHEE TOS... this is what she said DOE CHEE she picked and Cheeto up and said " Mom....doechee" she is so darn cute. She is a big help with her brother making sure that he is ok and his face is washed. Ran out of time will have to post pictures in a few....

Picture overload

Really where did the time go? My little precious girl is 19 months old and giving me a run for my money.....she is so fast and into everything, but then she can be a sweetheart. My little boy is growing so fast, he is 3 months old. At his 2 month check up he was 11.8 lbs and 23 inches long. Annaliese was 18 months and 19 lbs, her brother will be passing her up this summer I am sure. We are loving that the weather is getting warmer, so we can spend a little more time outside, and Ryan is back to work! Yipee! Braxton and Shelby are starting baseball and softball. They both are counting down the days until school is out. Here are just a few random pics. (I need to take more, but these are the ones that are off of my phone, I will try and get the sd card and load some from the camera.) The photo with Annaliese and a headband and ponytails is too cute, hair extensions for babies. (well thats what I call them)

bring on spring

Oh my, I can't believe it is already March! Bring on Spring! I am tired of the cold weather and ready to be outside. I am looking to buy a double stroller, so if anyone is selling one or knows somebody who is let me know please. I think Ryan had better finish his garden project so we can till the garden and get it ready to plant some peas and other cool weather plants. Kids are growing so fast Tristan is going to be six weeks old on Monday and Annaliese is almost 1 1/2. I can't believe how fast time is going by it seems like it was just the first of Feb.

1 month old and 17 months old

Wow where did the time go? Tristan is already one month old today! Annaliese is a little helper when it comes to taking care of him. She just wants to hold and hug him all the time. She has also started talking a bunch this last week. Some of the words you can understand and others you can't, it is her own little jiberish. Annaliese turned 17 months old this month, she is facinated with zippers, and Shayla's cell phone. I tried to get her dressed this morning and as you can see she wanted to stay in her PJ's and just put a vest on. She definately has a mind of her own.
